Fellow Training Professionals ~
The American Society for Training & Development (Low Country GIG chapter based in Charleston) is coming to Myrtle Beach six months out of the year. We will gather the first Friday every other month in Myrtle Beach to share training tips, resources and build a professional network.
As is the custom for a new year, the ASTD Low Country GIG leadership team has outlined a MISSION for 2010:
To create a network of training professionals within the Charleston and Myrtle Beach areas that are willing and able to resource share; thereby adding training opportunities to each member’s organization without incurring additional training expenses.
If you would like to be a part of this network, then we invite you to attend our first MB meeting:
- WHO: All Training Professionals
- WHAT: Free Lunch & Learn – we will provide lunch and the HTC Training staff will be demonstrating “Creative Training Techniques” in a very lively manner!
- WHEN: Friday, March 5th, 11:30-1:30
- WHERE: Location TBD (in Myrtle Beach)
- RSVP: Email your RSVP to me by Wednesday, February 17th
Meetings are free to Midland’s ASTD members or first time guests. Feel free to invite non-members, potential members. Invite them to take advantage of the “free pass to one meeting” by using the ticket found on the website (www.astdmidlands.org) . Cost is $15 for non-members that have already used the guest pass.
